The Whirlwind email list is a list for anyone with any relationship (SO, ex-SO, friend, or relative) of someone who has Borderline Pesonality Disorder.
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) effects millions of people. For each person who is diagnosed with BPD there are a number of people close to them or in their lives that are effected. If you are someone who has been effected by someone else's having BPD (you are then referred to on-line as a non-borderline) and this list is for you.
NOTE: There may be some borderlines and therapists subscribed to this list as well. But the focus is how those who know someone with BPD have been effected -- it is not a list that focuses on the borderline. (If you are a borderline see The Borderpd List Page
