Does Your Child Have Asperger's Syndrome?

If your child exhibits several of these signs, you may want to have him evaluated:



• Has trouble forming friendships

• Interacts well with adults but has trouble interacting with his peers

• Makes limited use of facial expressions, eye contact, and gestures

• Has an interest that seems abnormal in its intensity or specificity

• Is awkward or clumsy in his body movements and gestures

• Overreacts to minor changes in routine or environment

• Shows poor understanding of social conventions and has problems understanding other points of view
